Here at Mission Motors, we are developing electric vehicle
powertrains that do not compromise on performance when compared to
their combustion engine counterparts. We are looking for a project
manager with exceptional project management abilities, a solid
engineering background, and some experience with vehicle systems. You
will lead the projects that turn our core technology into working
prototypes and products.
Requirements:
Demonstrated ability to manage project teams and resources
Great communication and interpersonal skills
Effective project management skills such as scheduling, budget
planning and tracking, client deliverables preparation, high level
presentations, etc.
A desire to work in a fast paced engineering environment
At least 2 years experience in a project management role
Understanding of mechanical, electrical, and software development
processes and techniques
Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
for any employer
Bonus Points for Experience With:
An MS or an MBA
At least 2 years of automotive experience
An understanding of electric vehicles
Experience with volume manufacturing and a variety of manufacturing processes
Experience working within a quality management system
Experience in contract negotiations
A passion for A passion for motorcycles, cars and anything on wheels
Responsibilities Will Include:
Manage the design and development of electric vehicle powertrain components
Work closely with clients to define and execute project deliverables
Serve as primary Mission Motors point of contact with the client
Serve as primary defender and voice of the project within Mission Motors
Coordinate all project disciplines (R&D, industrial design, quality
assurance, etc) in order to guarantee all project needs are met
Ensure project deliverables are completed on time and within budget
Work with finance team to create project finance plan
Provide support with contract negotiations
Limited travel will be required
