We are searching for experienced mechanical
engineers who are passionate about foodtech and
have robotics and machine design experience.
Designing, building, testing and troubleshooting
will be daily responsibilities for this role.

Responsibilities:

· Development of mechanical devices to improve automation
· Design of the next generation 'cubbies'
· Prototyping and testing
· Simulated testing environments of systems
· Collaboration with internal and external teams

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in mechatronics,
mechanical, or related discipline (Master’s degree/s preferred)
· 4+ years of experience with mechatronics,
robotics and automation processes
· Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing
startup environment, comfortable working with
little direction and confident in asking for help when necessary
· Experience with machine design, preferably robot design experience.
· Experience designing, constructing, and
prototyping automated systems is required
· Technical competency / consideration for system EE and SE design
· Experience in developing MCU, computer,
and/or PLC-controlled automation systems
· Strong mind for function testing, system
qualification, and general risk mitigation
· Dedication to troubleshooting development
issues and debugging systems in production
· Proactively identify improvements to
existing systems or new projects with significant ROI
· Experience with Solidworks or similar CAD programs
· Understanding of metals, plastics,
coatings, CNC, injection molding, motors/actuation, pneumatics
· Demonstrated abilities in translating
non-technical objectives into one or more
engineering programs, successfully executing
these programs, and integrating the results into
a non-technical environment are of particular interest
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Knowledge and emphasis on food safety / contamination a plus
