Job Title: Engineering Intern
Department: Operations
SUMMARY:
Assist the engineering team with the transfer and
setup of manufacturing lines in Mexico.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Develop hands-on knowledge of manufacturing
tools, understand the critical dimensions, and
document the tool so that is manufacturable.
Proficiency in Solid Works is a plus.
- Understand the critical functions of
manufacturing tools and develop calibration and
preventative maintenance requirements.
- Responsible for the execution of equipment installation qualifications
- Must be willing and able to travel to Mexico
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Candidate for B.S or M.S. degree in Engineering
(preferably mechanical or biomedical engineering)
EXPERIENCE / EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong technical background, comfortable being hands-on
- Proficiency with Medical Device development
life cycles and manufacturing processes and
technologies is a plus, but not required.
- Knowledge of FDA regulation is a plus, but not required.
