engineering problems. Creare Design Engineers bring working
prototypes to life through concept development, analysis, mechanical
design, and coordination of fabrication and testing. As a Design
Engineer at Creare you will enjoy:

*Variety of Work: Work on several "clean-sheet" R&D projects at a
time. Example current/past projects: spacecraft cryogenic systems,
compact combustors, vacuum pumps for Mars rovers, miniature portable
water chillers, aerosol devices for administering pharmaceuticals,
liquid nitrogen cooling systems for cutting tools, precision scroll
pumps, and turbines with shaft speeds greater than 500,000 rpm.

*Opportunities to Apply Engineering Science: Wield your
understanding of statics, dynamics, fluid flow, heat transfer,
materials, mechanical design, and fabrication processes to design,
build, and test working prototypes.

*Talented and Creative Colleagues: Team with other creative
engineers and highly capable Designers/Drafters, R&D Technicians, and
Machinists.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of industrial design
experience (preferably in R&D), excellent academic credentials
(preferably with an MSME), the ability to design for a wide range of
fabrication processes, innovation and creativity, capabilities in FEM
and CAD, and excellent skills with organization, detail, accuracy,
and communication. P.E. licensure is a plus. U.S. Citizens or U.S.
Permanent Residents only.
