  We are looking for like-minded engineers to
join our growing team and enable us to take
innovation at iRhythm to the next level.
You are a seasoned mechanical engineer with a
track record of designing medical devices and
seeing them through to production and clinical
use. You enjoy mentoring and growing other
mechanical engineers, but are also looking for an
opportunity that allows you to stay hands-on in
design and development. You lead through vision,
influence and example. You have:
    * 8+ years of mechanical engineering design
experience with demonstrated leadership abilities
    * Excellent interpersonal skills, with the
ability to communicate and collaborate
effectively with other engineering disciplines and non-technical team members
    * Expert fluency with a 3D solid modeling package, preferably SolidWorks
    * Expertise in plastic component design and manufacturing practices
    * Understanding of the product development
process in a regulated industry or other
quality-centric environment, and the related
verification and documentation requirements.
    * Preferably, experience with design for
manufacturability in a high volume production environment
    * Preferably, experience with skin contact pressure-sensitive adhesives
    * Preferably, materials science, bio-interface design or sensor experience
At iRhythm, you would:
    * Manage and mentor all mechanical engineering activities at iRhythm
    * Conceptualize and prototype, design and
develop, test and analyze new diagnostic device
designs, incorporating a broad range of disciplines, materials, and processes
    * Guide development of new products through
the full product life cycle from early concept &
feasibility to transfer to manufacturing
    * Provide complete documentation of product
requirements, drawings and test results
    * Inspire and drive innovation in wearables
that are patient-friendly and deliver high clinical-value
    * Apply considerations for design for
manufacturability and scalability of process in all designs
    * Develop and document intellectual property around new products
