work on breakthrough augmented reality technology. Be a part of our
mechanical engineering team and help design and prototype the future
of augmented reality.

Responsibilities:
    * Hands-on prototype design and fabrication of test fixtures,
demo units, and next-gen hardware concepts
    * Support the ME team as necessary to meet aggressive schedule deadlines

Requirements:
    * Minumum third year BSME. Graduate students are also encouraged
to apply.
    * 1+ year Solidworks or other CAD experience
    * Basic 3D printing and laser cutting experience
    * Basic soldering experience
    * Schedule flexibility to work long hours as required to meet
important deadlines
    * Enthusiasm for working on AR technology
    * At least a 2 month commitment of 40 hr/wk (Schedule flexibility
allowed for previous commitments). There is a possibility to extend
this internship if both parties agree.
    * If requested by Meta, a portfolio submission of student
projects or hobby work that demonstrates design and prototyping
skills and enthusiasm

Bonus experience:
    * Sensor technology experience (vision cameras, depth cameras)
    * Augmented reality hardware experience
    * Optics lab work or other hands-on optics experience
