VytronUS has openings for a 3-month or 6-month
internship starting early summer 2016 in the
Systems Engineering group. We are seeking a
motivated individual interested in contributing
to the development of a robotically-controlled
catheter for medical ablative therapy. This
individual will work closely with engineers to
complete development and testing of a next-generation product.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Support development and testing of
robotically-controlled cardiovascular catheters
through prototyping, algorithm debugging, and verification testing
· Support characterization of system
performance metrics and acceptance criteria
· Analyze human clinical data to assess
system performance and drive improvements
· Analyze data, write reports, and
contribute to medical device design control

· Contribute to improved methods and designs for manufacturability
EXPERTISE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
· Pursuing degree or advanced degree in
mechanical, biomedical, or mechatronic engineering or similar discipline
· Proficient skills in experimental methods and data analysis
· Confident working with software tools
such as Matlab, Python, and scripting languages
· Excellent communication and organizational skills

· Independent personality displaying
initiative and commitment to succeed
