VytronUS has openings for both a summer and a
fall internship in the Systems Engineering group.
We are seeking a high energy individual
interested in contributing to the development of
a robotically-controlled catheter for medical
ablative therapy. This individual will work
closely with engineers to complete development
and testing of a next-generation product.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Support development and testing of
robotically-controlled cardiovascular catheters
through prototyping, algorithm debugging, and verification testing
· Support characterization of system
performance metrics and acceptance criteria
· Analyze data, write reports, and
contribute to medical device design control
· Contribute to improved methods and designs for manufacturability
EXPERTISE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
· Pursuing degree or advanced degree in
mechanical, biomedical, or acoustic engineering or similar discipline
· Strong skills in experimental methods and data analysis
· Confident working with software tools
such as matlab and scripting languages
· Excellent communication and organizational skills
· Pro-active personality displaying
initiative, perseverance, and passion to succeed
