We are seeking a holistic product designer who can think about the
interaction and delight of an application, along with the UI and branding.
This is a great opportunity to join an established company with a
start-up feel, in the process of a full re-branding, redesign and
start of their mobile application. There is a small team of three in
Burlingame looking for their fourth design partner.
In this role you will join a small team that encourages
brainstorming, collaboration and challenging the norm to create great
designs. There will be some European travel involved and "holiday" is
encouraged around that travel!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Concept and design interactions for mobile and web applications.
Brainstorm with design team around new features and improvements for
website, current product and mobile solutions.
Refine and evolve brand within application across multiple platforms.
Conduct user research as needed.
Partner closely with product management and engineering.
QUALIFICATIONS:
3+ years design experience, with some work on a consumer web product ideal
Experience designing for mobile
Ability to think holistically about a product or solution and create
both interaction and visual designs
Experience working closely with engineering teams
Open to international travel on a quarterly basis
Passion for working in a small team and wearing many hats to build
the best product possible.
