Job Title : Mechanical Test Engineering Intern
Location : San Francisco, CA
Full/Part Time : 25 hrs/week, 3 weeks
Position Start: Immediately
We are working on the design of a novel ice cream machine and need
assistance validating the mechanical prototype.
This position has responsibility and authority to:
* Perform life testing on motor/gear train mechanism, analyze results
and write reports.
* Perform and document testing of intricate mechanical assemblies.
* Run performance tests to characterize motors and mechanical drive
train.
* Analyze data and write draft reports that include statistical data.
In order to adequately perform the responsibilities of this position the
individual must have:
* Excellent communication skills.
* Basic understanding of mechanism design.
* Experience with validation testing.
* Strong skills in experimental methods and data analysis.
* Some mechanical design experience preferred.
* Experience with Solidworks CAD package a plus.
