Conductor, recently named as one of the 'Best Places to Work in NYC'
by Crain's New York Business, is looking for a UX Designer to join
our team. The UX Designer will join the existing Product Management
Team to deliver new functionality, upgrades and other additions to
our software. Our product, Searchlight, is a big data, web analytics
platform that provides information and insight for enterprise level
marketing departments.
This is an entry level role and a great way for you to kick off a
successful career in software design.
What the UX Designer will do:
* Work with Engineering and other Product Managers to translate
client needs into innovative, user-friendly solutions
* Analyze functionality and aesthetics of product features, and
develop solutions and improvements
* Execute on design concepts and see them through to completion
* Prepare design recommendations based on client needs and
long-term business goals
This role will have a direct impact on how current and future clients
interact with our software
Qualifications
* BA/BS in Product Design, Computer Graphics, or similar field
* Work and/or internship experience in a design role
* Experience in a software company or start up, preferred
* Experience with wireframes/interactions
* Basic understanding of HTML, CSS and Javascript
* An eye for color, spatial relationships, 2D layouts and
anything else that goes into creating an amazing product
* User centered design skills are a big plus
