Linux Systems Administrator, TASER International (Scottsdale, AZ)
Are you passionate about using technology to
solve problems? Can you design infrastructures
for large-scale systems? TASER International is
growing rapidly and searching for a talented
systems administrator who can facilitate the
continued expansion of our cloud-based software services.

You'll use your passion, technical expertise and
strong problem solving skills to develop and
oversee the infrastructure for our platform,
enhance our existing core services and support
key components of our product roadmap.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Manage cloud-based infrastructure system
• Develop custom tools to automate the IT infrastructure
• Configuration management
• Maintain peripheral services and software
• Work within a team environment to achieve organization goals
• Provide technical solutions to a wide
range of problems and user requests
• Perform standard administration tasks
(packaging, OS installs, patch management)

Required experience:
4 year BS degree in computer science, computer
engineering, or equivalent. 3+ years of
experience in systems administration. Ability to
scale customer-facing systems in a hybrid
environment (Windows, Linux). Expertise in
scripting (Bash, Powershell) and automation of
key administrative processes. Understanding of
data security processes and risks. Excellent communication and team skills.

Desired experience:
Experience with data center management (Amazon).
Exposure to Windows system administration and
software development. Comfortable with AWS.
Familiarity with at least one of the following
languages: Ruby, Perl, Python, PHP.


This role reports to the VP of Product Development in Scottsdale, AZ.
