Senior Electro-Mechanical Engineering Manager





Athletes hold themselves to high standards. They work hard to sharpen
their skills and practice their sport so they can deliver the most
precise, well-executed performances they are capable of. Only with

(adidas innovation team) focus their efforts on exploring the
intersection between science, research and design. Harnessing
futuristic concepts and technologies to get the most out of athletic
performance.


Purpose:


Lead a team of engineers to create market leading concepts and
systems for ait products via electronic and mechanical engineering
expertise, improving brand competitiveness through product and
technology leadership


Key Accountabilities


Effectively Manage and Develop the Electro-Mechanical Team
Effectively plan, execute, and coordinate all electro-mechanical
engineering projects and activities of the Electro-Mechanical Team.
Drive technical design, execution and programming of all sensory,
processing and actuating components of intelligent systems.
Manage the team to ensure organizational efficiency through
appropriate motivation, training and development
Provide clear targets and project deliverables to ensure project completion.
Manage the budget of the electro-mechanical team.
Deliver new product concepts and a vision for the evolution of
technology and our products.
Engage with design to create future product concepts grounded in technology.
Provide design with an understanding of technology direction to
foster new ideas.
Establish strategic partnerships
Develop technology resources and competencies in anticipation of future needs.
Build an effective information network, which provides quick access
to latest technical innovations.
Build alliances with external research facilities
(Universities/Institutes/Consultants)



Your Profile:

Deep knowledge of sensors, electronics and mechanics
Programming knowledge (C, Assembly etc)
Ability to provide engineering leadership, including ability to
manage/mentor team
Good communication and presentation skills

Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree in electronics engineering, or a related field
Previous experience with managing technical projects
6 year's experience in product development, preferably
electro-mechanical systems.
