Description & Responsibilities:
The Intern will be responsible for participating fully with the Power
Plant Systems group. They will deliver design work to ongoing
projects, as well as launch and lead projects of their own.
Interns will:
- Design and build prototypes
- Design autonomous robots
- Develop and implement experiments.
Experience & Skills:
- Excellent written and visual presentation/communication skills.
- Solidworks.
- Insightful analytic abilities able to sort through disparate
data, draw conclusions, and incorporate these new ideas into the next
build.
- The ability to prototype in high resolution and low
resolution, with both digital and physical tools. You’re a prototyping
machine.
- Experience with embedded systems, including programming in C.
- Demonstrated experience with applied mechanical design and/or
mechatronics.
- Passion for cleantech.
Education:
- BA/BS/MS degree or current applicable coursework towards degree program
