BATTERY ENGINEER, MISSION MOTORS (SAN FRANCISCO, CA)
Here at Mission Motors, we are developing electric vehicle
powertrains that do not compromise on performance when compared to
their combustion engine counterparts. We are looking for a versatile
engineer to join our growing battery team.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelors degree in engineering or physical sciences -
electromechanical, mechanical or physics background preferred.
Bright. Critical thinker, needing a minimum amount of supervision.
Strong attention to detail. Thorough.
Experience with laboratory test equipment and data collection are required.
Solid mechanical aptitude: Experience with CAD (Solidworks) design is required.
Basic machining skills are a plus.
0-5 years of technical experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

Design, setup and run experiments for thermal, electrical and
mechanical systems characterization.
Develop improved prototype design using CAD based on test results.
Generate systems models through primary and secondary research.
Conduct tests with detailed and comprehensive documentation.
Work intimately with equipment such as electronic loads, power
supplies, cell cyclers, module cyclers, environmental chambers,
vibration tables, calorimeters, flow benches, and frequency response analyzers.
Manage selection and purchase of new test equipment.
